Image: Courtesy of Dan Verity, Circa 2010 Dan Verity has been hard at work smashing out a new bike for 2011 and doing some nice mods on his green machine. He has some nice ideas that we thought you should know about. Check out his green machine here.

Rad-ness comes in all forms and takes all types!  Murray Siple's feature-length documentary follows a group of homeless men who have combined bottle picking with the extreme sport of racing shopping carts down the steep hills of North Vancouver. This subculture depicts street life as much more than the stereotypes portrayed in mainstream media. The film takes a deep look into the lives of the men who race carts, the adversity they face and the appeal of cart racing despite the risk. Shot...

I am new to the boards. Until a few days ago I had never heard of gravity bikes. I have been messing around with bikes my whole life. I make custom art and motorized bikes generally. I am pretty stoked that I have stumbled across this site and the whole gravity bike thing. I am building my first one this weekend. I have a redline frame that will be my starting point. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Peace jaded1

Images: Courtesy of Rocío Manceras, Malaga Spain. Circa 2010. When it comes to our Gravity Bike friends in Spain, there's no shortage of passion or energy that's for sure! They have equal measures of both. Combine this with some of the craziest hills in the world and you have a recipe for the growth and development of a healthy gravity bike culture. We recently spoke to Alb-PACMAN, a gravity bike rider from Malaga, Spain about his experiences riding, how things started and what it I...

You also develop an appreciation for nifty items that can make your journey more comfortable, safe or stylish. Knowing this, Bikefest spoke to their good friends at Craft Victoria, (who are in business of to...

This is the second trailer I have seen and it just gets better! It's about time Mat Hoffman's story was told and now it has been done by just the right people. Directed by longtime friend Jeff Tremaine and produced by Priya Swaminathan, Spike Jonze, and Mark Lewman, the film pays tribute to this BMX legend. It includes interviews with supporters and fans, like Evel Knievel. This film shows us the sacrifice it takes to be one of the greatest athletes in the world. For more information check out...

Image: Courtesy of Mutts Nutts Racing, England. Circa 2010 Our first thought when we saw Mutt Nutts Racing's new ride yesterday was "wow, there has been some serious thought go into this puppy!" The MNR II is one very neat machine. Apart from the obvious attention to detail, the MNR II combines a sweet set of components, super tucked bar position, elegant stearing dampner solution, custom aero tail piece and a super tucked rider position. We haven't seen any footage of the bike in action, nor a...
