Image: Courtesy of Aji, Circa 2011 Since the dawn of time, the fuzz have been trying to take the 'u' out of 'fun'! In their latest attempt to keep the little gravity bike man down, they have been snapped testing their latest gravity weapon. That's right people the Mad Max inspired, orange Interceptor has been screaming down indo hills with silent, deadly newton force! It won't be until you hear the screams of the nightrider that you will realise what's hit you. So keep building em fast and low...

Image: Courtesy of Fortune Hanebrink, circa 2010 For those of you old enough to remember, Mr Dan Hanebrink is not only a six-time MTB National Class Champion and a NASA aerospace engineer, he just happens to be one of the most influential figures in the history of Gravity Bike development. He is the godfather of gravity people! That's right, amongst his long list of motorbike and cycle innovations, Mr Hanebrink teamed up with Hutch in the late eighties to produce the Hutch HPV Superbike (which...

Images: Thanks to various photographers, circa October 2010. The sun may have set on the 2010 Collingrove Cup in Adelaide, Australia, but there are many of us already thinking about 2011 and how rad it will be to get back to such a unique track. In short, the inaugural Collingrove Cup was awesome! Well thought out, well organised, well run and well subscribed. Brought to life by the SAGRA (South Australian Gravity Racers Association) over a perfect long weekend, and with the help of some great...

We love Lucas Brunelle's film title 'Line of Sight' and what it represents for the fixy world. In the trailer, one of the riders describes the Line of Sight as 'a place in between cars, in between trucks and buses...taking a certain line through a curve or corner that people don't realise is there....we use those spaces, those openings, those opportunities, those blind spots and that's the area that we exist in. That's the space that we exist in, and where we race'. What a nice way of how we I...

Image: Still taken from video. Onboard with Dean Gallagher 2010 On Sunday 13th June, the Adelaide crew went on a recognisance mission to ride a historic hillclimb track in the outskirts of the city. From all reports and from the video it looks awesome. With tight, twisting corners and plenty of run off there is a vision to have a Adelaide Gravity Games at the site. We will keep you posted on the plans and bring you the action as it unfolds. Thanks to Dean, Canada, Typhoon and associated crew...

A few weeks back Sholto Allbrook and I made the trek out to one of the craziest hills in Victoria to do some filming. Mt Macedon is one of those places that has to be treated with a healthy dose of fear, respect and caution. The minute that you loose sight of the fact that its a super steep, narrow, open tourist road that's technical and unforgiving then you're looking for trouble. Little did I know that by the fourth run of the day that I would be somersaulting through the air like a rag...

A few months back Sholto Allbrook and I made the 800km trek across to Adelaide to have a roll with the crew that we met at Newton's. It was a crazy adventure with broken bikes, fractured wrists, highway patrols and general riding antics. Needless to say we had a mad time and the boys treated us to some sweet roads. All of the vids are live at the gravitybike HQ Youtube channel but I thought that you might enjoy this one straight up.

As the first video in a ongoing series of interviews, Gravitybike HQ spoke with Australian pioneer Gonz1 about the early days, how it felt to be at the beginning of something new and where he thought the sport might be headed.
