On the first day, he created imagination! GBHQ loves anyone with a little bit of imagination, artisan skill and craftsmanship. GBHQ loves it even more when its applied to the development of a new Gravitybike. Check out the above awesomeness from the guys over at S.I.N (Sir Isaac Newton) Cycles.

This project evolved from two previous bikes (Wasp and Freedom). They learned from Wasp, their mini-g, that being low to the ground with a tight tuck can make up for weight. From Freedom they learned that when your weight is too high, it makes cornering at speed really precarious. So their goal was to bring their body and ballasts as close to the ground as possible while maintaining a compact tuck. The best way to do this was to stretch the wheel-base and have the top tube go straight from the head tube to the rear axle. Enter their first prototype. They mocked this up and imported the picture into a graphic program (Illustrator) in order to start playing with our basic frame design.

It rides smooth and gives so much confidence in the corners.  We learned a lot from this build and are already designing modifications to this bike and working on a new custom build. We'll keep posting our progress and get some footage.
