If you thought that I was going to write about the film On Any Sunday, I'm sorry to disappoint. While the documentary that following the lives of motorcycle racers and racing enthusiasts, including actor Steve McQueen was incredibly rad, Ill save that for another time. I was simply wanting to say that on any sunday, in any given month, in any given country there are a small but dedicated group of gravity bike riders braving the cold, the heat, the cars, the roads, the animals, the pot holes, the slippery white lines, the cateyes, the guard rails, the flat tyres, the crashes, the broken bones, the loss of skin and the parents to get on their bikes and bomb the biggest, fastest and steepest hills they can find!

They are a group of extraordinary people who are interested in getting the most out of life. Some people call them reckless, stupid, crazy, irresponsible, mad, dickheads, idiots and even morons. I call them my friends!
